THERESA PEARCE – Rolf Method of Structural Integration & Elaine Patrone Method

I’ve had over 25 years of training and experience in body work, movement education, and personal development. In 1982 I received certification in massage therapy and wholistic health studies from Kripalu Center for wholistic health. After that I went on to study at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Bolder, Colorado, graduating in 1987. I’ve also received certification in Touch for Health (Kineasology) and Radiance technique (Reiki), and the Elaine Petrone Method of movement education. My intention is to share my knowledge with those individuals and organizations interested in bringing more alignment into their lives.

MARRO SPEHAR - Massage Therapy, LaStone, & Ear Candling

Marro has always enjoyed helping people and maintains strong beliefs that good health is achieved though nurturing the body, mind and spirit. She is trained as certified massage therapist from the Blue Heron Academy. In her continued studies she has completed her certification in Reiki, LaStone Therapy™, Upledger Cranial Sacral, Lomi’ili’ili™, and Thai Yoga Massage, expanding her practice to include therapeutic and relaxation massage, as well as seated chair massage and ear candling. Studying independently the use of essential oils, Marro also performs ‘raindrop treatments’ utilizing Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils.

BETSY WILLEY – Healing Touch

I became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner after a 3 year intensive in 2000 and became a Reiki Master in 2001.  The two energy techniques blend well together, and I feel very blessed to be able to offer them as a source of comfort and healing for many conditions and situations.  Healing Touch was developed by nurses, and therefore offers a wider variety of healing techniques.  I also received a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Dominican Center of Grand Rapids in 1998.  My book, Footprints of the Soul: A Creative Guide for Spiritual Groups and Individuals, is compilation of my experiences in teaching, healing touch and spiritual direction.  I have practiced Yoga for over 30 years across the U.S. and would like to thank Carol for creating the most beautiful healing space I have seen!

SOONOK GULISH, RN, ABMP - Thai Massage

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States at the age of 19 to attend college. I received a B.S. in Psychology at Michigan Sate University and later pursued a nursing education to become a registered nurse. In the past 13 years, I’ve worked as a psychiatric nurse in an acute care hospital. From my clinical as well as my personal experiences, I understood how the emotions affect the body and the interconnection between mind, body, and spirit. These experiences propelled me into holistic healing approaches. While growing up in Korea I was exposed to Eastern medicine such as acupuncture, herbal medicine and energy healers. For many years I’ve studied Western medicine and now my healing journey has come back full circle with my practice of Thai Massage. I studied and trained with Chuck Duff at ThaiBodywork in Illinois. I hope to facilitate healing in others by activating one’s innate body wisdom. I am a student of yoga, meditation, energy healing, and various bodywork. I continue to learn by studying, practicing and attending workshops.

PATRICIA MARIE PFETSCH

Patricia has been working and studying holistic health for over 15 years. She is a licensed massage therapist from Northern Prairie School in Illinois. Patricia also has completed her first year at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education. She is a Reiki master and is knowledgeable in flower remedies, essential oils, herbs, and homeopathic remedies. Patricia believes that to achieve health in all areas in one's life, is a life long pursuit and a way of living.
